The web sites listed above take advantage of a web based site editing tool called ModX. Each of the sites uses templates designed by the Digital Libraries Center. Through the templates faculty and staff at these organizations can simply and effectively manage a wide variety of web publication needs with no specialized knowledge other than the ability to use a typical document editor and a standard web form.
The Digital Library Center sponsors development sites for digital library projects. The development sites are used by project investigators as a sandbox to build and test their project concepts in. When the projects have reached a beta test state we continue to provide support for the projects until the investigators can successfully test their projects. The beta test sites are instrumental in the collection of statistical and other research data required to pursue further grant funding, institutional support and technology transfer opportunities.
