Area Attractions

There are many attractions and things to do in this wonderful area shared by New York State and Canada. The following is a short list of what is available:

Border Crossing Requirements for Niagara Falls, ON (Canada)
• Native-born U.S. Citizens:
o U.S. Passport, a copy of birth certificate, or voter registration card
o A form of photo ID
• Naturalized U.S. Citizens:
o Naturalization Certification or U.S. Passport
o A form of photo ID
• U.S. Permanent Residents
o Passport
o Alien Registration Receipt Card (U.S. form I-151 or I-551)

Also Note: Persons under 18 years of age who are not accompanied by their parents or legal guardians should bring a letter from both parents of guardians, giving them permission to travel to Canada. If one parent accompanies the student, then a permission letter is needed from the unaccompanied parent. If the unaccompanied parent is unable to provide a letter (due to divorce, death, custody agreement, etc.) than the letter from the accompanied parent must indicate such. Please contact the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) for additional information about travel to Canada.
