Committee Welcome

On behalf of the 2008 Conference Planning Committee; welcome to the Ninth Bi-Annual Statewide Minority Graduate School Awareness Conference. Our conference theme is “Beyond the Bachelors Degree”. The Conference Planning Committee has worked diligently, to ensure that you have a stimulating conference, filled with information, interactive workshops, an outstanding keynote speaker, and a graduate school fair.

We challenge all of our participants to take full advantage of the various aspects of the conference. This conference is designed to encourage and enlighten you about the process for enrolling in graduate or professional school. Keep in mind that the future belongs to those who prepare for it. We strongly believe that graduate school is one essential step in preparing for the future.

Enjoy the Conference, the Buffalo/Niagara area and our University during your visit. The autumn period is always a beautiful season for this region of New York State. Best of success to you in your future educational endeavors!
