To expose students to professionals who will share their real-life experiences.

To give conference participants an opportunity to network and create positive support systems with others who have similar higher education and professional goals. Participants will also have the opportunity to make connections with current professionals in their respective fields.

To increase the chances of admission of underrepresented students by emphasizing the importance of early strategic planning, understanding the highly competitive nature of the graduate school admissions process, and stressing the significance of academic preparedness.
